COPA is a group of folks who are seriously (or foolishly, depending on your point of view) involved in either building or performing puppet theater. We will be meeting for the specific purpose of performing, building, rehearsing or otherwise preparing ourselves to be better puppetry performers. We will also do some puppet improv and puppetry slams, and host some hands-on workshops to improve our skills.
We will be posting monthly updates and info about meeting times and dates on this web site as well as sending that info out to our email list.
We are working to establish as many varied opportunities for participating in the Great Puppet Encounter as possible. We would really like to work at making Columbus a respected and respectable puppet-opolis and add our energy and support to the great folks who bring top quality professional puppetry to Central Ohio, like Michael Schirtzinger at the Abbey Theater, Steven Anderson at The Phoenix Theatre and Shelly Casto at the Wexner Center for the Arts.Contact: Pam Spence
